Special CVD of 4% Exempted on Acetate Rayon Tow for manufacture of Cigarette Filter Rod

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 ,published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide G.S.R. 92 (E), dated the 1st March, 2006, namely: - In the said notification, in the table, after S.No. 74 and the entries relating thereto, the following S.No. and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

“75	5502 00 10	Acetate Rayon Tow required for the manufacture of Cigarette Filter Rod Provided the importer follows the procedure set out in Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty For Manufacture of Excisable Goods) Rules, 1996.	Nil”.
