Deemed Exports under DGFT Review

Subject: Interactive Meeting on 18th March 2011 at 3 p.m on Deemed Export Issues

1. Certain issues relating to Deemed Exports (Chapter 8 of Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14) had been raised by Trade and Industry. Clarifications have also been sought. These issues were discussed in the meeting of the Policy Interpretation Committee (PIC) Number 10/AM11, held on 15th March, 2011. Minutes of the Meetings have been placed on DGFT website (dgft.gov.in).

2. The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) would be available for interaction between 3.00 PM and 5.00PM on Friday, 18th March 2011 at room number 4, Ground Floor, H Wing, Udyog Bhawan (Conference Room of DGFT). Entry is through Gate No.2 of Udyog Bhawan.

3. Members of Trade and Industry are welcome to this interactive session to seek clarification or put forth their grievances (only pertaining to Deemed Export matter). Advance intimation [by email to dgper@nic.in with the subject header “Deemed Export: Interactive Meet on 18.3.2011” or by fax 91-11-2306 1613] would be appreciated, and would get priority during the interaction.
