Subject of Discussion

As the objective is to resume and intensify the Doha Round negotiations, technical discussions are not envisaged. The discussion will mainly focus on the best way to spark the multilateral negotiations to move the Round to a quick closure. This will naturally entail a sharply focused discussion on process rather than content. After all, the intention is to build a broad-based consensus on how Ministers would like to see the process of negotiation fast tracked. The objective is to draw up a clear plan for re-engagement at the WTO in the near future so as to take the Round forward.
