Four more Steel Items under Compulsory Quality Standards in BIS Scheme

Four more items have been added in the BIS Standard List by the DGFT vide their notification No. 79(RE) dated 14 January 2009. The items covered “Plain hard-drawn steel wire for pre-stressed concrete, wire for pre-stressed concrete, Uncoated stress relieved strand for pre-stressed concrete and Fusion bonded epoxy coated reinforcing bars.
