DEPB Rates Reduction on 05 Nov, 2008 Withdrawn

PUBLIC NOTICE NO.124(RE-2008) /2004-2009

NEW DELHI DATED THE 3 January, 2009

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures, (Vol. 1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the “Schedule of DEPB Rates”.

1.         Amendments made in DEPB Rates vide Public Notice No. 102 dated 05.11.2008 in respect of products where DEPB rates were reduced, hereby stand withdrawn w.e.f. 5.11.2008 itself, thereby restoring the DEPB Rates notified prior to 5.11.2008, for the said items.

This issues in Public interest.

DEPB Restored on Milk and Milk Products and Casein Exports

PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 117 (RE-2008) /2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED THE16th December, 2008

 In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the “Schedule of DEPB Rates”, as amended from time to time, with immediate effect.

1.         DEPB Benefit against export of Milk and Milk Products & Casein stands restored for shipments with immediate effect.

            This issues in the public interest.

Amendments in Schedule of DEPB rates, Steel and Cement

PUBLIC NOTICE  NO.   108 (RE-2008) /2004-2009

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the “Schedule of DEPB Rates” notified vide Public Notice No. 102 dated 5.11.2008. 

1.         Product Group: Engineering             Product Code: 61

The DEPB entries for Steel items at Serial numbers 67b, 67c, 85, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, 336, 337, 341, 342, 343,344, 345, 350,351, 352, 381, 386, 387A, 387B, 387C, 387D, 390 and 391 stand restored for shipments with immediate effect.

2.         Product Group: Chemicals                Product Code : 62

The DEPB entries for Cement at Serial numbers 842 and 899 stand restored for shipments with immediate effect.

3.         Product Group: Miscellaneous Products      Product Group: 90

Clause at Sl. No. 3 (i) of Public Notice 130 dated 27.3.2008 stands deleted with immediate effect.

            This issues in the public interest.
