Procedure for Re-credit of 4% SAD in DEPB, VKGUY etc

The following Circular was issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, Zonal Policy Research Unit, Mumbai on 7th February 2011.

Attention of all concerned is invited to Policy Circular No. 22/2009-2010 dated 3rd February, 2010 which notified the procedure for the re-credit of 4% SAD of Customs in DEPB, VKGUY, FPS, FMS, MLFPS scrips.

Mumbai Zonal office had issued ZJDG Circular No. 1/AM 11 dated 27.4.2010, ZPRU Circular No. 4/AM 11 dated 5.1.2011 and Trade Notice No. 1 dated 26.4.2010 providing detailed guidelines on the issue.

It has further been decided that such requests are to be approved/finalized at the level of Jt. DGFT only.
